Getting Started
How do I generate my first quote?
Log in, open your dashboard, and start a new quote. You can either speak the job or type it in. PriceUp structures the details for you and generates a clean PDF you can download and send to your customer.
Do I need to install anything?
No. PriceUp runs in your browser, so you can start on your phone or laptop without downloading extra software.
Do I need a credit card to start?
No. The Basic plan is free and does not require a credit card.
Voice and Quote Creation
The microphone is not working. What should I do?
First, check that your browser has permission to use your microphone. If access was blocked, allow microphone access in your browser settings and refresh the page. If you are in a noisy place or prefer not to use voice, you can type your quote details instead.
Can I type my quote instead of speaking it?
Yes. PriceUp supports both voice and text input so you can use whichever is faster in the moment.
What kind of jobs can I quote?
PriceUp works best for trades and service jobs where you want to turn rough notes into a clean customer-facing quote. That includes plumbing, electrical work, cleaning, building work, gardening, mechanics, and similar services.
Can I edit the quote before I download it?
Yes. You can review the structured quote before generating the PDF, so you are always in control of what gets sent.
Pricing and Billing
Why is there a watermark on my PDF?
Watermarked PDFs are part of the Basic plan. Upgrading removes the watermark and unlocks more professional branding features.
What is included in Basic?
Basic gives you up to 5 quotes per month with watermarked PDFs so you can try the product before upgrading.
What do I get with Trade Pro?
Trade Pro removes the watermark and gives you a more professional quote experience, including your business name, signature, and saved templates.
What do I get with Trade Premium?
Trade Premium is for more established businesses that want stronger branding. It adds features like logo branding, expanded business presentation, and more advanced quote management tools.
Is Trade Crew available now?
Not yet. Trade Crew is a future team plan for growing businesses with multiple users. It is currently marked as Coming Soon.
Can I cancel anytime?
Yes. You can manage or cancel your subscription from your billing settings.
PDFs and Branding
Why do my quotes still look generic?
If you are on the Basic plan, your PDFs are intentionally limited so you can try the product before upgrading. Paid plans unlock more professional branding and presentation.
Can I add my name and signature to my quotes?
Yes. Paid plans are designed to make your quotes look more credible and professional.
Can I add my logo?
Full logo branding is intended for higher paid tiers. If logo upload is not available on your current plan, you may need to upgrade.
Can I change the colours on my quote?
PriceUp may support limited branding options on higher plans. We keep these controls simple so quotes stay clean and professional.
Login and Account
I did not receive my magic link. What should I do?
First, check your spam or junk folder. Make sure you entered the correct email address. If it still has not arrived after a few minutes, try again or contact support.
Can I use a different email address later?
For now, it is best to keep using the same login email for your account. If you need help changing it, contact support.
How do I sign out?
Use the account menu inside the dashboard and choose Sign Out.
How do I delete my account?
If account deletion is not yet available in-app, contact support and we will help you remove your account and data.
Troubleshooting
My PDF did not download properly. What should I do?
Try generating the quote again and make sure your browser allows downloads. If the issue continues, try another browser or device and contact support if needed.
The quote does not look right. Can I try again?
Yes. You can regenerate or edit your quote details if the first version needs adjustment.
Is my data safe?
PriceUp uses secure infrastructure for login, billing, and data storage. We keep the product focused and simple to reduce unnecessary data risk.
